Good morning. First of all, I would like to thank the organizers of the Arctic Technology Conference for inviting me here, and a special thank you to the Canadian Consulate for giving me the opportunity to speak with you here this morning.
YELLOWKNIFE (November 28, 2012) Over 120 participants came together to talk about energy at the 2012 Northwest Territories Energy Charrette.

I would like to thank President Chris Buist of the Norman Wells Chamber of Commerce for inviting me to attend the Sahtu Shale Oil Industry update. It is always a pleasure to be in the Sahtu Region.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Thank you Chief Sangris for your welcome and opening remarks.
My thanks – first of all – to the NWT and Nunavut Chamber of Mines and the NWT Geoscience Office for their continued good work and commitment in hosting and organizing this annual event – and in particular – for the invitation and opportunity to speak this morning.
