HAY RIVER (November 28, 2012) – An intergovernmental agreement has been signed between the Northwest Territory Métis Nation (NWTMN) and Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) as part of 2012 NWTMN Annual General Assembly activities.
Mr. Speaker, on September 12th, negotiations towards a Délįnę Final Self-government Agreement reached a significant milestone. After many years, the negotiators have agreed on the draft text of a Final Self-government Agreement and financial agreement.
