Good afternoon. I am pleased to speak with you today to share the views of the Government of the Northwest Territories on Canada’s Arctic Foreign Policy.

May 10, 2011 - Premier, Floyd K. Roland will travel to Nuuk, Greenland this week to participate in the seventh Ministerial Meeting of the Arctic Council.
April 28, 2011 - Territorial premiers released the Pan-Territorial Adaptation Strategy and the Pan-Territorial Renewable Energy Inventory in Yellowknife today at the conclusion of the ninth annual Northern Premiers’ Forum.
April 11, 2011 - I must object to both your characterization of the Devolution Agreement in Principle (“AiP”) and your statements related to the history of the negotiations leading to the AiP, as set out in your letter published in the News/North on March 28th, 2011.
February 2, 2011 - In his Sessional Statement to Members of the Legislative Assembly, Premier Floyd K. Roland today highlighted how the devolution agreement-in-principle (AiP) has moved the Assembly closer to achieving its goal of a strong and independent Territory.
