Thank you for the invitation to join you again – and for this opportunity to say a few words.  It is always a pleasure for me to address the various Chamber of Commerce organizations across the NWT and today is no exception.

Thank you everyone for coming this evening and taking some time to have a discussion prior to the Charrette.  I am pleased to be joined by Minister Ramsay and Minister Miltenberger who both sit with me as members of the Ministerial Energy Coordinating and Climate Change Committee-of-Cabinet.

Mr. Speaker, healthy behaviours and healthy choices are fundamental to a good education and superior quality of life.  Schools offer a significant opportunity to educate young people about healthy lifestyles and to foster healthy behaviours.
