YELLOWKNIFE (Wednesday, October 24, 2012) – The first strategic plan on French language services offered by the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) was tabled today at the Legislative Assembly.

Mr. Speaker, it gives me great pleasure to congratulate the Department of Transportation for receiving the Silver Award for Innovation from the Institute of Public Administrators of Canada.

Mr. Speaker, last month I travelled to China with my colleague Mr. Robert Hawkins and business delegates from the Northwest Territories as part of the Council of the Federation Trade Mission.
Mr. Speaker, on October 10th the Government of the Northwest Territories was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2013.
