Update:This is to inform residents of Fort Providence that the community has lifted their Evacuation Notice due to a decreased fire risk at this time.

Residents should still stay aware of current conditions and be prepared due to wildfire activity in the area.

Remember, being prepared for emergencies is important in every season.

Update: Tthets’éhk’édélı̨ First Nation is advising residents of Jean Marie River that the community has lifted their Evacuation Notice due to a decreased fire risk at this time.

Definitions

Level 1 - Evacuation Notice: To advise you that an emergency event, such as a wildfire or flood, may present an increased risk to your community and could endanger life or property. 

Level 2 - Evacuation Alert: Get ready to leave on short notice. 

Level 3 - Evacuation Order:  Leave as soon as possible. Follow all directions from officials. 

Evacuation notices, alerts and orders for a community are issued by the Community Government.
