Funding to assist family day homes with day-to-day costs.
Homelessness Assistance Fund (HAF) is one time emergency funding that is available if you are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, or have an opportunity to access stable housing.
This program provides compensation to traditional harvesters in the Northwest Territories who have suffered loss or damage to equipment or assets because of a natural disaster.
Financial assistance to Northwest Territories (NWT) seniors and persons with disabilities to help meet their basic needs.
This program provides financial assistance to Northwest Territories residents to help meet basic and enhanced needs. The program encourages and supports greater self-reliance to improve the quality of lives.
Funding for students enrolled in certificate, diploma, degree program, or training that supports Indigenous language revitalization
This program provides funding to Indigenous communities in unsettled land claim areas to participate in land and resource management activities affecting their land use areas.
This program provides support to organizations to deliver local activities, which either include a work experience component, or guarantee employment at the end of the project.
Funding for arts organizations for large art projects and events (e.g., festivals, exhibitions, residencies, workshop series).
Funding for artists, craftspeople, arts and non-arts organizations for the creation and presentation of medium arts projects and events.
Funding for community organizations to deliver community based Men’s Healing programs throughout the NWT.
Funding for licensed artists, crafters, filmmakers, commercial renewable resource harvesters, and small businesses to support small projects.
Funding to improve the accessibility of homes for people with a disability.
Funding to help start a new licensed centre-based programs.
Funding to help start a new licensed family day home.
Funding to support NGOs who deliver critical GNWT funded programs and services to NWT residents, such as programs related to homelessness, addictions services, and shelters.
Funding for commercial farming, fishing, wild harvesting, and non-timber forest products.
The Northwest Territories Child Benefit provides low-to-modest income families with monthly cash payments to assist with the costs of raising children.
