Thank you in particular to the Canadian Institute for putting on this very timely forum to discuss the logistical challenges – and opportunities - of operating in our northern setting.

(June 14, 2013) - Good morning, my name is David Ramsay, and I am the Minister of Industry Tourism and Investment for the Government of the Northwest Territories.

As Minister of Industry, Tourism and Investment I am responsible for supporting the commercial fishery in the Northwest Territories which is largely centered on Great Slave Lake.  This is the topic of my discussion with you today.

J. Michael Miltenberger - Liquefied natural gas supply for Inuvik

(June 6, 2013) - Mr. Speaker, on May 31st, 2013, in response to questions from Mr. Alfred Moses, Member for Inuvik Boot Lake, I addressed aspects of this Government’s plan to provide relief for the residents of Inuvik by introducing liquefied natural gas or LNG to the community.  I would like to clarify one point about LNG storage plans.
