Ministerial activities for the week of July 8 to 14, 2025

Ministerial Travel
Please note that the travel schedule is subject to change at short or no notice. This schedule is current as of July 7, 2025.

• Minister Cleveland will travel to Quebec City, Quebec, on July 8 to chair a meeting of the Committee on Internal Trade.
• Minister Cleveland and Minister Wawzonek will travel to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, from July 9 to 11 to participate in the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Ministers of Energy and Mines (FPTEM) Conference.
• Minister Wawzonek will meet with the Honourable Nathan Neudorf, Minister of Affordability and Public Services for the Government of Alberta, on July 9 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
• Minister Cleveland and Minister Wawzonek will meet with federal Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Tim Hodgson on July 10 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

• Minister McKay will participate in a teleconference with representatives of the Canadian Red Cross on July 8.
• Minister Kuptana will co-host, with the Honourable Rechie Valdez, the 43rd annual meeting of Federal, Provincial and Territorial Ministers responsible for the Status of Women and Indigenous Leaders and Representatives in Yellowknife on July 8.
• Minister Macdonald will meet with chiefs from Akaitcho Territory in Yellowknife on July 8.
• Minister McKay will participate in a teleconference with the federal Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience, Eleanor Olszewski, on July 9.
• Minister Kuptana will co-host, with the Honourable Rechie Valdez, the 43rd annual meeting of Federal, Provincial and Territorial Ministers responsible for the Status of Women in Yellowknife on July 9 and 10.
• Minister Kuptana will meet with the Honourable Rechie Valdez, the Honourable Margaret Nakashuk, and the Honourable Jeanie McLean to discuss pan-territorial priorities in Yellowknife on July 9.
• Prime Minister Simpson will meet virtually with Métis National Council President Victoria Pruden on July 11. 
• Minister Wawzonek , Minister Macdonald and Minister Cleveland will meet with Matt Breen, Chief Operating Officer of Diavik Mine, in Yellowknife on July 14.
• Minister Cleveland will meet with leaders of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Chamber of Mines in Yellowknife on July 14.
