Ministerial Activities Advisory for the week of July 8-14, 2025

Ministerial Travel 
Please note that travel schedules may change with little or no notice. This schedule is accurate as of July 7, 2025. 

• Minister Cleveland will be travelling to Québec City, QC, on July 8 to chair a meeting of the Committee on Internal Trade.
• Minister Cleveland and Minister Wawzonek will be travelling to Charlottetown, PEI, from July 9-11 to attend the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Energy and Mines Ministers’ Conference (EMMC).
• Minister Wawzonek will be meeting with Honourable Nathan Neudorf, Minister of Affordability and Utilities, Government of Alberta, on July 9 in Charlottetown, PEI.
• Minister Cleveland and Minister Wawzonek will be meeting with Federal Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Tim Hodgson, on July 10 in Charlottetown, PEI.

• Minister McKay will be attending a virtual call with the Canadian Red Cross on July 8.
• Minister Kuptana will be co-hosting the 43rd Annual Meeting of Federal, Provincial and Territorial (FPT) Ministers Responsible for the Status of Women and National Indigenous Leaders and Representatives with the Honourable Rechie Valdez on July 8 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Macdonald will be meeting with Akaitcho Chiefs on July 8 in Yellowknife.
• Minister McKay will be attending a virtual call with the Federal Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience, Eleanor Olszewski, on July 9.
• Minister Kuptana will be co-hosting the 43rd Annual Meeting of Federal, Provincial and Territorial (FPT) Ministers Responsible for the Status of Women with the Honourable Rechie Valdez on July 9 and 10 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Kuptana will be meeting with the Honourable Rechie Valdez, Honourable Margaret Nakashuk, and Honourable Jeanie McLean to discuss pan-territorial priorities on July 9 in Yellowknife.
• Premier Simpson will be meeting virtually with Métis National Council President, Victoria Pruden, on July 11. 
• Minister Wawzonek, Minister Macdonald and Minister Cleveland will be meeting with Matt Breen, Chief Operating Officer of Diavik Mine, on July 14 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland will be meeting with leaders from the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Chamber of Mines on July 14 in Yellowknife.
