YELLOWKNIFE (October 20, 2015) – On behalf of the residents of the Northwest Territories, I would like to congratulate Prime Minister designate Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada on their election victory last night. We are confident that Mr.
Mr. Speaker, we often talk about the people of the NWT as being our greatest resource. I think it’s fair to say that our Government of the Northwest Territories’ public service is made up of many of those remarkable people who dedicate themselves to public service.
Mr. Speaker, I am pleased to have this final opportunity to welcome Members back to the Legislative Assembly. This will be the last sitting of the 17th Legislative Assembly, and while our time together will soon be drawing to a close, the work that we began here does not end.
