Financement attribué par l’entremise du Fonds anti-pauvreté et du Fonds de stabilisation des ONG

Avis publics

Yellowknife — 11 août 2025

The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) allocated its funding for the 2025-2026 fiscal year through the Anti-Poverty Fund and the NGO Stabilization Fund.

These funds support organizations across the Northwest Territories (NWT) that work to reduce poverty, promote inclusion and build capacity in the non-profit sector.

The Anti-Poverty Fund helps support community-led initiatives and projects that contribute to reducing poverty at the local level, while the NGO Stabilization Fund supports eligible organizations that wish to develop their capacity and stabilize their operations to help them deliver essential services to the people of the Northwest Territories.

A survey of organizations and governments across the NWT on these two funds was recently conducted. The GNWT plans to share the results with NGOs, Indigenous governments and organizations, and the public this fall. A comprehensive response and suggestions for improvements based on the survey results will also be shared later this year.
