BEIJING, CHINA (September 14, 2012) – Premier McLeod spoke at the Canada China Business Council today as part of a premiers’ panel to encourage foreign investment in the territory’s mining, oil and gas, and hydro industries.

VANCOUVER (September 5, 2012) -- Premier Bob McLeod and Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Michael Miltenberger are attending the Rosenberg International Forum on Water Policy, the preeminent forum for water policy study.
YELLOWKNIFE (August 31, 2012) – Premier Bob McLeod met with Dehcho First Nations Grand Chief Herb Norwegian on August 27. This was the first meeting between the two government leaders since Grand Chief Norwegian’s election in June.
FORT PROVIDENCE (August 17, 2012) – Catherine Beaulieu Bouvier Lamoureux will be celebrated as a National Historic Person this weekend.
Ms. Lamoureux is the first NWT woman to receive this designation from the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada.
YELLOWKNIFE (July 19, 2012) – Premier Bob McLeod met with the newly-elected Gwich’in Tribal Council (GTC) President Robert A. Alexie, Vice-President Norman Snowshoe and Chief Operating Officer Fred E. Koe today in Yellowknife.
