Job Information
Dehcho Divisional Education Council invites applications for the 2025-2026 school year. The DDEC requires substitute teachers (casual) for JK-K through grade 12. School programs support language and cultural heritage of the students in an inclusive environment that respects the diverse styles and needs of all learners
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Previous experience working with children (e.g., camp counselor, daycare assistant, tutor) is highly valued.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and often demanding team setting.
- Should have experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
- Ability to speak or communicate in South Slavey is an asset
- Ability to work with students, in multi-level situations is desirable
- Successful candidates must produce an ORIGINAL, acceptable, recent (less than six months old) Criminal Record Check which must include Vulnerable Sector Check.
