Job Information

As the Relief Secretary, you will provide confidential secretarial, administrative, and financial support to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the school. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate school records and managing staff leave systems. The quality and timeliness of these services directly support the ability of school administration and staff to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance and client support services for students, their families and members of the public to ensure clients are well served by the school
  • Maintain student records to ensure an accurate and update registry of students and student achievements
  • Schedule appointments and arrange meetings and conferences
  • Maintain financial administration to ensure all school accounts and budgets are accurate and up to date
  • Provide minor first aid to students when necessary and inform the Principal and parent of the need for medical attention

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 10 combined with completion of a Secretarial Arts or Office Procedures Program and/or related secretarial experience.

This job opening is for a Relief position where there are no established hours of work on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and may be required to report to work on an as and when required basis for facilities where services operate on a daily basis throughout the entire year.
