Highway 3 and Ingraham Trail hold on recreational leasing
Aside from the 22 cabin lots released during the Ingraham Trail ballot draw in 2015, the Department is not accepting applications for new recreational leases within the focus area along the Ingraham Trail and Highway 3. This will allow appropriate evaluation and planning to be completed in the Yellowknife periphery area.
Existing leases in good standing will not be affected, nor will commercial activity. Cabin seekers should contact real estate offices for more information about existing cabins for sale in the region.
