The current fire ban has been extended for all public and private lands in the South Slave Region – from the west of the Slave River at Fort Smith through Fort Resolution and stretching to the east to the border with the Dehcho Region.

A limited number of Outfitter Licences are now available for Units U and R. This licence is required if you plan on providing equipment and guides for people hunting big game, or if you expect to receive money, goods, or services in exchange for these services.
