The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is seeking public input on the Yellowknife Airport 20-Year Master Plan. The GNWT is in the process of developing the 20-Year Master Plan that will promote growth and guide current and future airport development.
We invite you to visit GNWT’s Public Engagement website from May 17 to June 12, 2022 to provide feedback. Residents can find information on the 20-Year Master Plan, the two proposed options and complete the online survey.
The public engagement is asking NWT residents to provide their feedback on the two identified options for future development of the Yellowknife Airport:
- A new terminal building and airside development proposed to be built on the west side of the airport on the Deh Cho Boulevard ‘Truck Route’.
- A new terminal building and associated airside development proposed to be built at the junction of the airport’s two runways.
Your feedback will be considered by the GNWT as it finalizes the Yellowknife Airport 20-Year Master Plan later in 2022. To have your say on the Yellowknife Airport 20-Master Plan, please visit: haveyoursay.nwt-tno.ca/yzf-masterplan
