Nominations extended for Minister Responsible for Persons with Disabilities’ Award for Accessibility and Inclusion 2023

Yellowknife — June 8, 2023

Yellowknife (June 8, 2023) – The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) has extended the nomination period for the 2023 Minister Responsible for Persons with Disabilities’ Award for Accessibility and Inclusion.

The annual award provides an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of an outstanding volunteer, community member or business that strives to make the NWT more inclusive and accessible for persons with disabilities.

Residents are encouraged to nominate an individual, group or business by visiting the Department of Health and Social Services website, downloading a nomination form, and returning it to MRPWD_Award@gov.nt.ca.

The new deadline for nominations is Friday, June 30, 2023, and forms can be found here: https://www.hss.gov.nt.ca/en/services/services-persons-disabilities/minister-responsible-persons-disabilities-award-accessibility.

The Award recipient will be acknowledged during a ceremony in August 2023.
