Minister of Health and Social Services, Julie Green, is seeking nominations for the role of Chairperson of the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services (NTHSSA) Leadership Council.
The Leadership Council is the territorial board of management for the NTHSSA. The Leadership Council provides overall leadership (advice, recommendations, and direction) to the NTHSSA.
The Chairperson ensures the overall effectiveness and accountability of the Leadership Council through consensus building and responsible decision making, and acts as the main contact between the Council and the Minister. The Chairperson ensures that the Authority’s communications protocol addresses the needs of all stakeholders, and this individual also serves as the spokesperson for the Leadership Council. Staff support and remuneration are available for this role.
Minister Green would like to thank the current chair, Jim Antoine, for his six years of dedicated service through the growth and development of NTHSSA, launched in 2016.
