Thank you. As Premier of the Northwest Territories and as someone born and raised in the North, I am pleased to be here today to present a Northern perspective on Canada’s term as Chair of the Arctic Council.
YELLOWKNIFE (March 17, 2014) – Northwest Territories residents can expect to see significant improvements to territorial cancer care services in the next three years.
YELLOWKNIFE (September 24, 2012) – September 23rd to 29th is Literacy Week in the Northwest Territories.
FORT PROVIDENCE (August 17, 2012) – Catherine Beaulieu Bouvier Lamoureux will be celebrated as a National Historic Person this weekend.
Ms. Lamoureux is the first NWT woman to receive this designation from the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada.
YELLOWKNIFE (January 6, 2012) – The Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre (PWNHC) reopened the NWT Archives yesterday after a chimney fire damaged a small area inside the building on Boxing Day.
