The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) has received lead testing results for Mildred Hall School in Yellowknife.
The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is advising residents of Gamètì that Northwestel will be conducting planned network maintenance on Friday, December 05, 2025, between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. (MST).
Housing NWT and the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) are sharing an important update. Effective April 1, 2026, Housing NWT will assume operational responsibility for the Yellowknife Day Shelter and Sobering Centre. NTHSSA currently manages these shelters.
