Julie Green, Minister of Health and Social Services, is pleased to announce the 2022 recipients of the $1.75 million Anti-Poverty Fund. This year, 64 grants were awarded to community, Indigenous and non-profit organizations to help overcome and reduce poverty by addressing root causes.

R.J. Simpson, Minister of Education, Culture and Employment, issued the following statement on the early implementation of the new Child Care Fee Reduction (CCFR) Subsidy:
The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is seeking input from the public about the Mackenzie Valley Highway (MVH) located between Wrigley and Norman Wells.
The GNWT is launching an after-action review in which community governments, flood-affected residents, businesses, and those who participated in the emergency response will have their say on the territory’s 2021 flood response and disaster assistance.
For the second year in a row, the Government of the Northwest Territories is offering funding to organizations to help families get out on the land. The program is designed to help offset the costs of participating in on the land experiences, so more residents can get involved.
