YELLOWKNIFE (June 28, 2016) – The NWT Teachers’ Association and the Government of the Northwest Territories have reached a tentative agreement.  Both parties are pleased with the progress made in negotiations and are recommending ratification of the agreement to their principals.

Mr. Speaker, this first budget of the 18^th Legislative Assembly is about putting our fiscal house in order so that we can continue to provide quality programs and services and over the life of this Assembly, focus on what matters to the people of the NWT.
