Nahanni Butte compte environ 100 habitants et doit son nom à la montagne de 1 400 mètres qui la surplombe. Il s’agit de la seule collectivité ténoise accessible par bateau-taxi en été; en hiver, une route de glace la relie au réseau routier ténois.
