Slave River Environmental Quality Monitoring Program
This five-year multimedia sampling program (1990 to 1995) characterized baseline conditions of the aquatic ecosystem in the Slave River at Fort Smith, NWT. The comprehensive program developed a solid baseline for the aquatic ecosystem of the Slave River against which future changes can be measured. As part of a follow-up to the program, further sampling was conducted from 2000-2007.
