Overview
Wildfire Community Preparedness Day is a national campaign encouraging people and organizations everywhere to come together to take action to raise awareness and reduce wildfire risks.
The day is celebrated annually in the first week of May. However, events may be held between May and October.

Overview
The goal of CHAP is to support harvesting as an important cultural practice. CHAP intends to provide opportunities for community members access country foods for subsistence and promote the continuation of traditional practices, land-based livelihoods and the traditional economy.
