Have Your Say: Francophone Community Satisfaction Survey

The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is seeking feedback on French language communications and services through an online survey. Feedback provided as part of the Francophone Community Satisfaction Survey plays an important role in improving the delivery and quality of services to the public.

The survey, which closes on June 9, 2024, takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and is anonymous.

Regional Fire Restrictions Implemented in Dehcho Regions on all Public and Private Lands Effective Immediately

Regional fire restrictions are being implemented prohibiting any open flames and other activities effective immediately.    

These restrictions are effective through May 24 and may be extended if necessary. They apply to following communities and land between them not under federal jurisdiction:

Minister Cleveland holds first meeting with Education Leaders

Minister of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) Caitlin Cleveland met with Education Leaders in Yellowknife on April 10, 2024.

The event marked the first meeting with Education Leaders since Minister Cleveland assumed the portfolio of Education, Culture and Employment. It was also the first meeting for James Fulford, the new Deputy Minister of ECE.

Waterways: Works from the Museum Art Collection now on display

‘Waterways: Works from the Museum Art Collection’ is a new exhibit that showcases artwork from the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre's collection. The exhibit features artwork that highlights the significance of water for people living in the North and illustrates how water is used for transportation, recreation, and harvesting. Through painting, print, and sculpture, this exhibit takes visitors on a journey through the waters of the Northwest Territories.
