Following the easing of restrictions in the Northwest Territories (NWT), the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) has reopened the Business Stream of the Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP).
The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) Department of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) has extended the deadline to apply for Supporting Child Inclusion and Participation (SCIP) yearly funding to May 2, 2022 at 5 pm. This extension provides applicants with additional time to complete their proposals.
This funding is intended to reduce barriers and increase participation in early learning and child care programs for children aged 0-6 years old with diverse needs.
The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) has launched the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre’s (PWNHC) Museum Art Collection online portal, featuring over 1,400 records and photos of artwork, including sculptures, paintings, prints, and textiles.
The itinerary for the Northwest Territories (NWT) portion of the Royal Tour scheduled for next month has been made public and will include a full-day of events that will focus on Indigenous culture, history and language, climate change, northern food production, and community service.
