Mesures de sécurité mises en place en raison d’un cas présumé de la maladie du charbon chez un bison retrouvé mort en bordure de route

Yellowknife, le 15 août 2025 – La carcasse d’un bison possiblement atteint de la maladie du charbon (aussi appelée fièvre charbonneuse) a été découverte sur le bas-côté ouest de la route 3, au kilomètre 164.

Applications for the Adam Yeadon Memorial Scholarship are now being accepted. 

The Adam Yeadon Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students in the Northwest Territories (NWT) pursuing full-time post-secondary studies in a diploma, degree, or other approved training program in forestry or wildland fire management to encourage them to continue their studies in these fields.

This scholarship was established in 2024 following the death of Adam Yeadon in the line of duty during the 2023 wildfire season.
